Long Time, No Blog

Well, it’s been a while but we’re doing great!

School’s out for me (I only taught 2 days a week, but in my opinion, teaching is always ‘full time’).  I had the most blissful year of teaching and I am so sad that it’s over.

Everything is going fine with Baby Green.  We are so grateful for good reports every time.  I’ve not done very well with pictures, but here is a picture of me from earlier this week at the house with almost all of my students who came out for a celebration.

I’m 30 weeks in this one . . .

I’m feeling great!

I love lists and I know you do, too (:)).  Here are a few things I have discovered along my pregnancy journey:

1. 9 months is the longest and yet shortest amount of time.

2.  Snoogy body pillows are worth every penny.

3. Naps are as great as everyone has been telling me my whole life.

4. Baths, while slightly more appealing than before, are still not my thing.

5.  My center of gravity is hilarious.

Have a happy holiday weekend, all!

  1. I LOVE the picture, and only wish it were bigger so I could see your cute belly better! You look gorgeous! I also love your list and I can say that I absolutely agree with all of those things, but #2. I never had the pleasure of having a snoogy, and can only imagine how much better I could have slept had I had one. :) Glad you’re doing so well. I’d have to say that pregnancy definitely agrees with you!

  2. Celeste! You look great. I agree with Carrie – I want a close up. You look great!!! I am glad your pregnancy has been going so well! Love you.

  3. Hi Celeste,

Congratulations to you guys and also to Kimber and Ryan. We can’t wait to see Baby Green, I love that you are waiting to see just what God has packaged up for you! We received the picture of Canaan and we think he looks just like his Mommy! You look great in the picture and we can’t wait to see your baby. Congratulations! Love to all, Aunt Susan

  4. my favorite thing about sleeping with a snoogy pillow was how i had to work to roll over to my other side in the middle of the night, while taking the pillow with me. no matter how hard i tried to be quiet, taylor would always awake to the sounds of the grunting, uncomfortable whale that shared his bed. lucky guy!

    love you!
