The Killers on SNL
I just saw “The Killers” on Saturday Night Live… I had never heard of them before (sorry if that makes me out of the loop) but I loved them!! They were like a cross between R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam and Fleetwood Mac. Some of that description comes from their music style, some of it from their “look” / “attitude”… but they were extremely fun to watch and their song — “Are We Human” — was great!
So now I’m off to buy their album.
See guys… it pays to be on SNL!
I would also say their music on Hot Fuss reminds me of The Cure. “Read My Mind” off Sam’s Town is one of my faves, too.
