Terminator 4 Set

Yesterday after we dropped Wendy off at the airport (pictures of her trip coming soon) we drove by the Q Studios where they’re currently filming Terminator 4.

We asked about getting on the lot, and while they were really nice they didn’t let us on.  Very secure set they said.  And they verified that it was T4 being filmed.  However, we did get some pretty cool pictures of some “apocalyptic cars” that they had outside of the confines of the studio gates.

This area had apparently just recently been filmed as the “Special Event Ahead” and “flag man” signs were still up on the road before we got to them… not that the road would’ve had much traffic at all since it’s out in the middle of no-where.  The cars were painted to look rusted and old and had tumbleweeds strategically placed around them.  So we had to jump out and grab a few pictures.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

We saw this today, and all I have to say is THANK YOU George Lucas, Stephen Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and everyone else for NOT screwing this up!!!

It was perfect!

It’s What you Think . . .

Hello, Blogland.  This is Celeste.

I noticed that we haven’t updated on the blog in a while.  From the looks of it, you’d think that all we’ve been doing is running around town doing community events in Noel’s Stormtrooper armor.

If that’s what you think, you’re exactly right!

All kidding aside, this (the whole Stormtrooper thing) has been such a blessing to us as a couple and new members of our community.  Noel gets to do one of his greatest loves - dressing up - and I get to do one of mine - watching him play:).  Really, I love it but I also love the things we get to experience as a result of being part of this group.

As for other news, Noel and I have the first round of company here at the house this week.  From there, the revolving door on the guest room will not stop until the end of June!  We love living in a home where people can come and have plenty of room.  Loft living sure didn’t lend itself to that!

Speaking of lofts, Noel and I were waxing nostalgic the other day when we saw this picture of our most favorite loft we ever lived in (we lived in 3, so, yes - we had a favorite).  So I’ll leave you with this fun pic! Have a wonderful weekend!
