Watching Ratatouille

After coffee on the balcony we all came inside and settled down for a movie… Ratatouille.  Henry was enthralled!

Washing Umbark

Ryan, Colleen and Henry call Ryan’s car “Umbark”. Here are two quick pictures of Ryan and Henry washing it. I have a sinking suspicion Ryan does most of the work. Although… Henry could be running around the car to create a breeze… thereby drying it more quickly to avoid spots.

The Lebanese Flower

Actually more correctly translated it is “The Flower Lebanon”… but regardless, this is the place Ryan & Colleen took us to eat in Abu Dhabi. We had the traditional olive plate, hummus, fattoush, and shawarma. It was awesome!

It’s Only a Model

This is just an example of some of the models of “future” buildings you see here and there and everywhere.

Going to Abu Dhabi

We didn’t get to go to Abu Dhabi last time we were here, so this year was nice to get to do so. Here are some pictures of our drive from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi.

Heritage Village at the Oasis

We went back to the Heritage Village to eat with Ryan and Colleen’s friends Cullen & Marina and their son Domino.  We had a great time, great food (lots of hummus, shawarma, olives, etc…) and laughs at Henry and Domino running around.  We also enjoyed the business man on his laptop smoking shisha in the background.  See if you can spot him.
