The Apple iPhone

Posted by Noel on Thursday, January 18th, 2007

For those of you who don’t know Apple just recently unveiled its new cell phone… and of course they call it the iPhone.

I’ve been trying to tell people about some of the things it does, and how I believe (as do many, many others) that it is going to revolutionize the way cell phones are made and used… not to mention thought about! But it’s hard to explain it to people.

Just like trying to tell someone what an iPod was, or even more so like trying to tell someone who only has read books what television is like, this is something you really have to see to understand. It’s something that made my younger brother Jason tell me today, “It makes me want to work for Apple.”

So… if you don’t have time to watch the hour long keynote introduction to the iPhone (which I really encourage you all to do), here is a short, but fairly informative, look at the iPhone from CBS News.

The usability of the touch screen is like if mice were just invented for computers. The review here said it’s even more impressive than the keynote, and that the touchscreen takes your breath away. I’m going to post my own blog soon on it.

    Noel,

Thanks for the comment. I see you are as excited about the iPhone as I am. Have a great week.

  3. Lynsey Says:

Awesome! I want one. They are probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars?
