Happy Wednesday, Blogworld! Well, Noel
Happy Wednesday, Blogworld!
Well, Noel and I were supposed to be on a cruise to Alaska right now. Needless to say, we’re not there:). But it was a good decision - we both have so many things going on right now with work (which is a good problem) we felt that we just wouldn’t enjoy the cruise very much. And, cruises are supposed to be enjoyable, right? We thankfully got a full refund and we’ve been thanking God daily for guiding us in the decision. It’s been made very obvious that we are supposed to be here.
Some of you have asked about my writing. Well, rest assured - I’m not writing the next American novel by any means (but I think my mom is!). I’m acutally doing technical writing. I’m mainly writing curriculum for Korean students to learn English. No, I don’t know Korean:). It’s an all-English program so I just have to know English, though I’ve questioned my knowledge of my own language a few times. Along with the curriculum, I’ve done some resume writing, proofreading, and I may write a little for our company, Park East, down the road. I LOVE this work. I don’t think anyone gets as excited about prepositional phrases as I do:).
So, on that note, I leave you with this movie quote:
“I’m not a duke . . . I’m a writa’.”

Well I’m stumped on that one (the quote)…Celeste you should have called me. I would have gladly taken your place on that cruise. I would love to go to Alaska, that sounds so nice. But another time for you guys! I’m so impressed with what you’re doing, that just sounds like you!

Wow, we should post something ‘real’ more often:) I love hearing from everyone!Chrissy, great hearing from you! You must know, though, that NOEL is the computer genius. In fact, he’s a genius all around:). And we shall have what the Lord gives us - baby industry or no baby industry:)Larissa, I would have totally given you our place on the cruise . . . but I don’t think you would have enjoyed sharing a cabin with my parents:). Oh, and here’s a clue to the quote: Moulin

I just love you guys! And please tell me that you are still writing “poetry verses” (for lack of a better term) - like the ones that are in the book you gave us! I’m so glad you are doing so much!! Tell Noel “Hello!”

So sad about the cruise… we went on one three years ago and it was amazing! However, you have always been so wise in your decision making … wish I had a tenth of your wisdon really! Glad that everything is going so very well. I like it when you update with words by the way! Miss you so much!!!
